Georgia Tech Architecture Centennial Poster

in collaboration with Stefan Kjartansson, Kevin Byrd, Farbod Kokabi, Raymond Forbes, and Ted Ullrich. For Armchair.

This poster celebrates the 100th anniversary of Georgia Tech’s College of Architecture. It’s celebrated with a lecture series by graduates of the College. Under Stefan and Kevin’s direction at Armchair, I assisted with production of the graphic artwork and typography, and designed and produced the poster’s ‘opening sequence.’

The development process of this project was highly collaborative and discursive, focused around the issue of how to visually describe this program’s 100 year tenure. The client latched on to this concept - 100 circles that refer to the centennial. Each circle is proportional to the graduation class size for each year. The poster was mailed to architecture schools, organizations, and alumni.
